FALL 2012-2013 REGISTRATION ELIGIBILITY INFORMATION
Children who have reached the age of six months before September 1, 2012 through children who turn five after September 1, 2012 are eligible to attend MDO. All classes have a six-month age range. Should vacancies occur during the course of the school year, they will be filled with children whose birthdays fall within the appropriate six-month period from the existing waiting list.
MDO admits students of any race to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. MDO does not discriminate on the basis of race in the administration of its educational, admissions and employment policies.
FALL 2012-2013 REGISTRATION FORM
Open enrollment for new families begins February 6, 2012. Priority is given to siblings of current or past enrollees and members of the Peachtree Baptist Church. Please print the form available here, complete and mail to the P.O. Box listed below.
In order to process your registration, please ATTACH A REGISTRATION FEE OF $100 TO THE REGISTRATION FORM (make checks payable to MDO). Use a separate form for each child you are registering (you may pay the registration fee for multiple children using one check). We will notify you of your child’s enrollment status no later than March 30th. The $100 registration fee is refundable only if we are unable to schedule your child.

ENROLLMENT
Children who are currently enrolled, siblings of currently enrolled or formerly enrolled children, members of Peachtree Baptist Church and families who have been on a wait list for enrollment during the current school year have priority until new family registration begins.
PARENT VOLUNTEERS
At MDO, volunteering is an important part of our culture. Parents are strongly encouraged to volunteer and help with various monthly activities such as laundry and toy cleaning. We also expect each family to volunteer and participate in our major fundraisers, Kids’ Market and Auction, as well as other functions throughout the year. When parents come together to support our school, we strengthen our community and teach our children the importance of doing our part. There are many ways that parents can volunteer. If you choose not to volunteer, we cannot guarantee a spot for your child in the following year.
ACTIVITY FEE
For the 2012/2013 school year, MDO will require a $160 fee per child to help fund extracurricular programs, such as Art, Music, Language, Creative Movement, Curriculum Enrichment and other special programs that supplement your child’s learning experience. This fee is due with your first month’s tuition payment.
2011-2012 monthly tuition schedule:1 day: $90.00/monthSchool is scheduled to begin in early September 2012 with the exception of the Baby Class that starts in mid-September. The school year will run through May as determined by our summer camp start up dates. Full tuition is due even when MDO may be closed during part of the month for vacation or holidays or if your child does not attend his/her regular school days.School closing dates generally coincide with those set for the Atlanta Public Schools.

4 days: $360.00/month
5 days: $450.00/month
